『英语杂谈』 每日经历英文记录，求指点

    lz大二，外语学院金融专业学生。深感学校金融实力何其差也，故欲专心学习语言。高中在河南就读，高考英语无听力，不注重口语。但一进大学的校门，英语课就全英教课，上课读课文因发音不准引得其他学生暗笑，大一期间，英语走的及其艰难，在听力口语的漩涡中苦苦挣扎，欲学习而得不到权威教导。一人专研，一年半后，英语虽未有大的突破，但基本摆脱口语，不用再纠结于发音。随着班中学生留学的步伐，lz渐感压力，想到打算学但还未开始学的日语，lz慌了。现打算把每天经历用英文记录，一来可以练习英文，二来也希望得到大家的指导。希望有相同兴趣的共同交流。。。

　　Friday februry 10th,2012 sunny
　　today i woke up very late at ten. in fact, i didn't want to get up so late, but i can't. because my father was at home today, and i don't like to study when others are with me. i knew my father would begin his work tomorrow, and once he began his work, he would has only a few days to relax, maybe one day in a month. so i wanted to stay with my father, and i din't want my father to be at home alone. on the morning, we watched TV, it was about animal world. both of us liked it. in the afternoon, my sister came back from work, because all of us were free, we played cards(dou di zhu), and i won twenty yuan. ok, that's all about it, see you!

　　addition：i wrote an e-mail to my foreign teacher named john. he is very tall, very kind and full of energy all the time. i wrote for him for help. there are some article from me, and i want him to correct them for me. after all, he knows more about native English.

　　now, i'm studying. my parents went out to work, so is my sister. there is still several days before the new school term. i want to go through the oxford advanced learner's English-Chinese dictionary to correct my pronunciation.

　　you know, the day of one person in home is boring, and the biggest advantage is that i can study for some time. i went through oxford for 200 pages in those basic word with a key after each. also, i made lunch myself, and to my surprise, it's pretty good. but the thing i can't deny is that i do waste much time. this maybe the disparity between successful people and me, so i have to correct it. i know i should make full use of my time while there are to many things for me to learn.

　　what a fine day. my family went to visit my uncle(i have six uncle and this one ranks number one) in the evening. why so late? because both of us are busy, we are working to live. my father drove us there besides the north forth ring. and there, it's very hard to find a place for parking. at last, we put the car at the edge of the road. before we come back, my uncle give me 100 yuan as lucky money. so is the day, see you tomorrow!

　　i saw an article in tianya today, it's about office politics. the author of it is a girl certificated with master's degree. and the article mainly talked about her everyday life in the office and her competition for a higher position with her fellow called yao. previously, i want to go abroad to get a better career, but i often hesitate because i think china will keep developing very fast in the following years. but now, i have decided to go to japan, and i'm afraid of the thing in china called "guanxi".

　　recently, there was a hot topic about apple's tort. and now there is a fight in the court between apple inc and the company of weiguan in shenzhen. since i'm not a fance of iphone and ipad and chinese company have suffered unfair treatment in foreign countries, i really want weiguan to win the lawsuit. as to tablet computers, i believe there would be many more for consumers to choose, and chinese factories is very good at imitating. what's more, ipad won't disappear in china. while apple inc made a great profit in china, it will compromise with weiguan company. 　　In the afternoon i went out with my father to help him with his work. I didn't help much, and I think I kind of useless. The only advantage was that he was not lonely. After i came back, i hung out in <Random Talk on English>, and i found a lot of good articles. In these articles, i knew not only some knowledge that i don't know before, but the way to learn a new language:use it as much as you can.
　　After learning something about foreign countries, i found wage in other countries is high as well as tuition. So I decide to learn as much thing as i can before i go abroad. my catchword in the new school semester would be: not enough. i'm not doing enough, and i'll keep going.

　　Today, I met my accounting teacher of the new semester for the first time. According to her action in the first class, I like the teacher. Before the class, my roommate told me that she is strict, she liked to ask us questions, and she would test us many times. But to me, that's not the standard of judging whether a teacher is a good or not. It's his or her attitude to his or her job and to the students that really matter. And it seems that the teacher is responsible to us. AND THAT IS WHAT I NEED. SEE YOU!

　　I met my teacher of political study(maogai). She was in her mid-thirties, and pretty beautiful. As soon as the class began, she told us that she was a women with warm heart. Before, she also said to her students that they were in one generation, but now, she had to agree that she is much older than we students. But she also said, she would do her best to make the class interesting. In fact, she was knowledgeable. Unfortunately, you know, almost all student don't like these complex and useless theory, so do I. Because I sited in the front row, so I listened to her, and it turned out she was a little better than other teachers, but not too much. During the break, I asked her some questions about Marx and communism. And the answer was that communism was Marx's imagination. She is a doctor who has just got her doctor's degree from Central University of Finance and Economics. And this is her first job. As a new teacher, she seemed to be a little nervous, and she made a lot of low level mistakes. But the teacher is serious to her job, and I believe she is familiar with the knowledge, and it's just she can't say it out. Ok, I'll learn the subject hard. And I'll give my best wishes to her. 　　Today I got my first meeting with my teacher of statistics: a lady of mid-forties. From what the teacher said and the way she said it, I knew that she is knowledgeable. Although she is only a vice-professor, she has more knowledge than a professor. And the only reason why she didn't apply for professor is that she think it's too complex, there are too many boring things to do. And in the first class, she just introduced herself to us and tell us something about statistics. After that, the class was over. In the evening, I bought a book about some basic knowledge of Japanese. I have been ready to learn it.

　　On the morning, I met my foreign teacher Katy after so long time. She show us some pictures of her family took in Beijing, because she spent all her holiday with her family in Beijing while her daughter flied here from America. And then, she asked us to talk about our Holidays. In the class, I helped her. Since we are studying in a new class, she didn't know how to use these equipments, so she sent for a technologist. But the technologist knew nothing about English, so I served as a translator. Though my English may still sucks, but I helped. In afternoon, I book I ordered arrived. In the evening, I came back home in the south forth ring.

　　I woke up at almost 12 o'clock AM. Then I began to learn the new book I have just bought. Before, I have known that Japanese is easy to learn at first, and hard at last. But when I began to learn it, I found it's still hard. I don't mean it's hard than other languages, and I just mean that it's hard. But I know it's pretty normal, because no language is easy to learn in a short time. And what I can do is just never giving up. I went from the fifty sound figure, and I finished ten of them. This semester, there would be too much work for me: english, japanese and major class,I have to learn harder, and I have to finish all of them because they mean a lot to me. So I have to make the most use of every second and every minute. I am not sure if I could do as what I said, but I wish I could, and I 'll keep trying.

　　I came back to school today in the morning. I went to school by subway, and my aunt drove me to the station. At about 10 o'clock, I arrived at school. Then I chatted with my roommate about some meaningless topics. And in the afternoon, I began to study. I prepared accounting while there would be accounting class tomorrow afternoon, and it took me a lot of time. I was in lack of time recently. In the evening,I argued with myself about if kept running everyday because it really needed time, and I also needed time. After a long time of thinking, I decided to keep running 8 laps in the playground everyday, but I would try to control the time to half an hour. After all, health is more important than anything, and it may also help me to learn in high efficiency. So much for today, see you!

　　1 maybe 用于句首可连在一起使用，如果在句中，应为 may be.
　　2 除非是常识性的句子，或为已被论证的真理，用现在时。不然的话，要练习上下文，过去的事情就一定是过去时态，不要一个句子中同一个时间段发生的事情，出现两种不同时态。
　　3 would 后面加动词原形
　　4 单数名词前一般要加冠词the, a, an。
　　5 名词单复数要注意
　　6 有一些句子太冗杂，可以试着使用复合从句来表达。
　　7 很多词语字面翻译的意思和实际运用是不一样的，要慎重考虑。
　　8 词语拼写要仔细
　　9 句子形容词和人称代词注意全句一致。比如，two of them出现的句子里，第三个人的时候，最好用the another one， 而不要用the third第三个，毕竟前面两个女孩，并没有排序第一第二。

　　Our PE class is on Tuesday which is today. My optional subject is basketball. Though I suck in playing basketball, I love the class. Every class, our teacher would teach us some skills for less than thirty minutes, and then, it's our free time. And I would play basketball with others, so was today. God, I really sucked at throwing the ball into the basket, so what I did most was passing the ball to my partners. I was very happy with it, but I know this wouldn't do me good, because at the last of this semester, our teacher would test us in throwing the ball into the basket. Maybe I need more practice.
　　In the evening, I cut my optional class, because I thought it was boring and a waste of time. OK,so much for today,see you!

　　Just as what I have said before, the university in which I was studying was pretty bad at mathematics. When I was a freshman, my mathematics teacher was an old man. He was very loose with us, and we could learn just a little thing on his class. So how about the exam? Don't worry, he would tell us the examination questions in advance. God, together with me! With such a teacher, who can learn it well? So we just learned some simple methods. But this semester, we began to learn Economitrics which needed us to have a good knowledge of math. And now, we couldn't follow our teacher's pace. Also, she was amazed at how bad was our mathematics. Now, I have to review the math we once have learned newly which would take me a lot of time, and I am in lack of time. This evening, I should have watched a video about Japanese, but I spent my time on writing diary, and it's late now, so I have to put the plan off.

　　In the morning, I met my English Writing teacher again. She is my favorite teacher, and I always think I am very luck to have a teacher like her to teach me. She is talkative,knowledgeable, attractive, humorous, and serious sometimes, so almost all students in my class like her. But in the afternoon, things changed. It was just the second time we had met our teacher of statistics, but we began to fell bored on her class. We all knew the teacher was full of knowledge, both at home and abroad. Maybe she thought statistics was too easy, so she didn't teach according to the book. As a result, we couldn't follow her. And another feature of her class was that she often finished her assignment in advance which meant we could leave ahead of the time, and it did cheered a lot of students.

　　Last year, I began to learn about paper gold. I remembered clearly that I bought 3500 yuan worth of paper gold which was 10 grams the first time. Several day later, the price of gold rose, and I made a profit of a bit more than three hundred yuan. Then, after a short, I did it again. But this time, I was not so lucky, and I lost 500 hundred yuan during the falling of the price. I found this kind of thing was out of my ability, so I sold most of them expect 100 grams of silver which just value about 700 yuan. Today took a glance at the price of precious metal, and I found the price of silver was trying to get rid of that of gold. If it was true, I think the price of silver would keep rising for a long time.

　　1 如果是已选择的课程，就是chosen, 动词过去完成时作为形容词来描述之后的class,如果你意指选修课，那么就是minor,或者 elective class.
　　2 suck 用来表达感觉时，加上feel会比较通顺。
　　3 学期末或者学期快结束的时候，应为at the end。
　　4 AS I SAID BEBORE 就可以了，不要写成what I have said。。。句子不够精炼。
　　5 the university which i was... 这里不可以加in. 如果要说在这所大学数学学得很糟糕。。。也许可以改成while studying in this university, my mathematics was pretty bad.
　　6 in one's class ，介词不应该是on
　　7 she was amazed at how bad was our mathematics应为she was amazed at how bad our mathematics WAS.

　　I want to do well in English course, so I spent all the morning preparing the new lesson we are going to study. I was serious to every word, every sentence, and I looked them all up in the Oxford dictionary. But, God, forgiving my complaint, it was so time-consuming. I did not mean I was mean in spending time on English. I just wanted to use my time in high efficiency. I knew my effort would not be wasted, but they were not proportionable. In the afternoon, I did the same thing. But in the evening, I realized I was not so good at English, and it was not necessary for me to knew the exact meaning of every word while it was too big a job. So my plan for the next step is to reciting words and good sentences. I'll begin tomorrow! See you!

　　Today I got up so late that my roommate was surprised about that! In the afternoon I printed some word documents about comparison of words and some classical sentences. Now I have known exactly how hard it is to conquer a language, but I'll never give up. Ok, I want to keep modifying my plan. So, good-bye!

　　English course is not English. You can score all the points possible for the course, it still doesn't mean you are home free with the language.

　　I would say you are currently above the 95 percentile of all English learners. To advance further than that, you need to step out of your comfort zone and see what it is really like in the real world. 　　I have booked the <NEW CONCEPT ENGLISH 3> and they will arrive at the campus I am in tomorrow. In the afternoon, we had our Accounting class in building one. Our teacher was very responsible, and she told us everything we need to know as well as those we don't. Many students had a good impression on her, so did I. But I still think she have some faults, for example, we were moving too slowly in the book. Before I was admitted by university, I had a great requirement on teachers. I thought that professor or vice-professor must be very good at teaching. But after I was admitted, I was so disappointed that my only ask was to be serious to their job. Of course, teachers in my university suck doesn't mean my school isn't a good one. In fact, I love the university very much. If I had another choice to choose a university at the same level, I would choose the university I am studying in definitely!

　　I love our teacher of Econometrics. Since our mathematics sucked, she helped us a lot. We all knew that her duty was to taught us something about Economy, and now she was just helping us. Though she was new in the job of teaching and was not very good at it, her kindness was able to offset it. In the evening, I recited another article in NCE3<NEW CONCEPT ENGLISH 3>. When I was reading it, another guy was also reading several feet away from me. And we completed. Both of us pay a lot effort to read aloud, and it was interesting.

　　Happy Women's day. I had a dream last night, and in the dream I was still dreaming. Ok, here is the deal. At first, I had a dream. But then, the clock alarmed and I woke up. But I was so sleepy that I switched it off and went on with my dream. I told myself one and another time that I gotta get up. However, you know, it failed. But it did happen in my another dream. In the dream I did get up and saw my roommates, and I told them what happened in my dream which I remembered clearly but now I have forgotten. At about 9:30, I got up truly. When I first found that it was just a dream, I was so surprised while I could still feel the happiness I got when I got up. But the fact was cruel. Anyway, it is an unforgettable experience and I will value it.
　　In the evening, I heard a news that a guy who was begging for a girl's forgiveness put many LED lamps under the girls' building which were arranged into the words "FORGIVE ME". Unfortunately, things didn't go as he might think, and the girl didn't come down.

　　Today is my roommate's birthday, so happy birthday to him at first. Since we had no class in the afternoon, all of my classmates were very high. I want to study all the time, but in fact, I didn't do that. In the afternoon, I slept all through it, and in the evening, I watched a movie instead of going to library. Now I have known the importance of never put the thing you should do now off, and I do go after it. But maybe I also need to pay more attention to my ability to carry out my plan. 　　Since I don't have so much to say about things happened today, I will write some articles of NCE by memory.
　　Lesson One: Pumas are large cat-like animals which are found in America. When reports came into London zoo that a wild puma had been spotted forty-five miles south of London, they were not taken seriously. However, as the evidence began to accumulate, experts from the zoo felt obliged to investigate, for the descriptions given by people who claimed to have seen the puma were extraordinarily similar.
　　The hunt for the puma began in a small village where a women picking blackberries saw a "large cat" only five yards away from her. It ran immediately when she saw it, and experts confirmed that a puma will not attack a human being unless it is cornered. The search proved difficult, for the puma was often observed at one place in the morning, and at another place twenty miles away in the evening. Wherever it went, it left behind it a trail of dead deer and small animals like rabbits. Paw prints were seen in a number of places and puma fur was found clinging to bushes. Several people complained of "cat-like noises" and a businessman on a fishing trip saw it up a tree. The experts now were fully convinced that the animal was a puma, but where had it come from? As no pumas had been reported missing from any zoo in the country, this one must have been in the possession of a private collector and managed to escape. 　　I had to say that I was moved deeply. I wanted to cry very much, but I am a man, and I was in my dormitory where several of my friends were just around me. So I had to hold the tear. I want to be stead-going but sensitive. Many times, the tear came out and they came back. I liked these pictures. I know all the time that pure love exists around us all the time, only if we try to find out them. I liked the dogs. It's true that a dog will always be loyal to its master no matter what the master do to it. I used to have a dog like this. Simple speaking, when the dog was going to die because of illness, it bit everything it saw. But when I stood besides it and stoked it, it just looked at me and did nothing. When I left, it kept bite everything again. And on the night of the day, it died.

I know what he is doing now is good for the future of China, but it may not be so good for most people now. Our government is trying to improve the statue of China in the world. They want to have more influence to the world and get more benefit from the world. And we normal people are those who enjoy the achievement at last. But now, we ordinary people's life may be much harder, because most of the benefit are shared by a few high-level people. I know it's hard for many to understand why our country will act like this, but as a economy-learning student, I know it will do a favor to the development of our country. It's a fact that I have faith in our government, but I still will go abroad and don't come in the following several years. 　　Recently, I hated elective course very much. Since I am already an adult now, I don't want to or even I hate it very much to move after other's instruction. If there should be someone who will be response to my future, the one should definitely be me, instead of anything! But now, I have to give my attendance in elective class. If the class is attractive, that will be ok. In fact, elective is kind of boring, or at least, it will be better for me if I learned it myself. In this evening, I had a selective class, and I dropped it by asking a girl, one of my classmates, to help me to answer if the teacher questioned me. She agreed to help me, but just for this time. Next time, maybe I have to ask help from somebody else.

Within two or three years, it had been two or even three times the price it used to be. But to us normal people, buying a house might not be a good choice. My family did get one in 2008, when the price had just began to rise, at the price of 300,000 yuan in my hometown. And now it's price do has risen to 600,000 yuan or even more, but the fact is that my parents are never going to sell the house, and we just had earned some paper money. Because our money were used to buy the house, my parents couldn't do business anymore and began to work for others. I often wonder whether the loss is worth the paper money we get. To me, the answer is clear: I will never do that.

　　In the evening, I was enjoying learning financial market in the first class of continual three. And during the break, a girl expressed some special feelings to me. After she left, I began to realized that she might have a special feeling to me. With this doubt I spent the following two classes.
