　　我觉得otherwise因为有or与主权隔开，可能指的是与主权相区别的其它权力形式。
　　to the extent that应该是从这个意义，从这个方面来说的意思
　　hereafter, herein, hereby, hereof都是正式的商业文书中的用法，相当与中文的谨此，特此，在此，与此等等。
　　至于你说的set-off等等词组，限于专业，我实在答不上来，你若知道了还请告诉我。

　　party B未必是中文乙方的意思，应该根据上下文来定，也可能是与A对等的另一方。

　　哈哈哈，果然有趣！就是这个意思嘛，说了那么一大堆，没办法，法律语言就是严谨阿

　　做翻译的时候查到这个帖子，发现是好久以前的，可以需要的刚好没有说。不过后来我又在别处查到了，attachment prior to judgment应该是指判决前查封财产。记在这里以共勉：）

　　Party B未必是国家，不是只有国家才可以主张Sovereign Immunity的，很多国有企业也有可能主张。
